Most recent, advocacy accomplishments include

  1. Asking and working with legislators to develop laws pertaining to restraints in public schools.

  2. Asking and working with legislators to develop and implement laws calling more accountability of providers.
  3. At the federal level, advocacy efforts monitored the reauthorization of IDEA to ensure the rights of students with developmental disabilities.
