(PTO)_provides group respite care for children with developmental disabilities and their siblings in order to provide parents with a time out. PTO is offered each Saturday from 2-6 pm. No PTO is scheduled on holiday weekends. Participants must be members of The Arc and fees apply. See calendar for dates. At least one family member must have a developmental disability or mental retardation. The Arc employs kind and caring staff and the staff have experience and/or training. The program provides accommodation to a variety of disabilities. The philosophy of the program is to make every effort to accommodate through a team approach rather than establishing an admission criteria based on clinical levels.
